INGREDIENTS:
Brown sugar: 1cup
Granulated sugar: 2tbsp
Butter: 14tbsp
Flour:2cups
Vanilla Essence: 1tsp
Eggs: 1 large
Baking powder: 1/4th tsp
Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
Table salt: 1/2tsp
METHOD:
Melt 10 tbsp's of butter , cook until brown.Add the rest of the 4tbsp's to it & allow to cool.
Now add all the wet ingredients with sugar(brown + granulated) i-e egg, vanilla extract, butter.Mix well in a blender.
Sift all the dry ingredients.
Add the wet and dry ingredients.Make in to a dough.
Roll dough between two sheets of butter paper.
cut the cookies using a cookie cutter.Place on an already greased baking tray.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 min.
Cool on a wire rack.
TIPS:
- cookies are soft when they come out of oven.Will harden as they cool.
- Rest them overnight.Will taste better the next day.
- Do not overcook.10-15 min more than enough in a pre heated oven.
